How does LANoi work?

To connect to another remote PC the user first needs to create an invitation file through an invitation wizard, this also provides the user with a password. The person with the right password and invitation file alone gets to gain access to the application session shared by the invite creator. For example, if a user wants to have a gaming session of Quake 3 Arena with his friends that has limited ports, (through which the game hosting servers are accessible) the user needs to create a session with these ports such that only those ports are available for the invitees to connect to him using the application software. This way the invitees only get to access specific sessions like gaming or chatting and are denied access to other sessions using the same invitation file. Meaning, there can only be one session per invitation file and therefore cannot be used interchangeably by users for having more sessions with the same sender at a given time.
